Convert Sony XAVC to iMovie 08/09/11 for editing

I record lots of XAVC footages with my Sony PMW F55 camcorder and now I want to edit XAVC videos with iMovie but iMovie cannot recognize the XAVC directly. So how can I convert/import Sony XAVC to iMovie? Thanks for your help.

Before converting, you should connect the Sony camcorder to PC via USB cable or Card Reader for transferring XAVC video to your Mac's hard drive.

Step 1: Add videos
After running the program, then click “Add File” button to import XAVC videos from your computer to iMovie for editing.

Then click “Profile” to choose iMovie supported MP4, MOV, etc as output format.
